As the new season is approaching, I am eyeing a few pairs of shoes to help me transition into Fall. Of course they are all black, but each has a cool and interesting element that makes it special. I was very specifically looking for an investment pair of mules (in black) of great value that I could wear on the go, dressed up or down. This pair had my name all over them. First off, I am a growing fan of the brand Vince. The products are high quality, timeless & super chic. Pricey but worth the cost, their pieces are those that stay in the closet & become your classic “go-to” wardrobe items for years, not just a quick season. Whether you’re looking to splurge & invest or spend under $50 so that you can eat & pay rent (I feel you), this round up of black mules will help you smoothly transition out of your sandals & into the Fall months. Browse below where I started with affordable & fabulous. Which pair is your favorite?
Oren Loafer Mule
At times you must treat yourself. I did with these, & I treasure them. Goodbye summer sandals. The leather on these gems is so soft & smooth. They have a house slipper feel to them that makes them easy to throw on to go grocery shopping, yet they are sophisticated & elegant. This is hard to do, & Vince got it right with these. I’m obsessed with them.
You can have all four of these stylish mules and still keep it under $100. Now that’s a pretty big shoe win.
I want them all. Each one has a unique characteristic that gives it some flair while keeping it totally minimal & classic. All can be found at Nordstrom for free & easy shipping & returns.
Sam Edelman is one of my favorite go-to shoe brands always, & these do not disappoint. I tried on this pair at Nordstrom. The heel and rounded toe keep them classy. And this pair from Via Spiga is the perfect blend of sporty & chic. These would all be investment pairs. They’re great to add to the wish list and save up for!
